Plot:

This book is set in a Dystopian world, where rape and abuse are legal. In this story, seventeen year old Lila is desperately trying to lose her virginity before the Recruitment ceremony. She wants to make sure that her first time is not by force and that she has given her consent.

The world in this book is very interesting. The whole idea that rape and abuse are legal makes for a very interesting premise. More importantly, it is very thought-provoking and the whole book will make the readers think.
